    • To play wordle, there is a word and students guess based on the number of letters.
    • If the letter is correct and in the correct space write it in green.
    • If the letter is in the word, but not in the right spot, write it in yellow.
    • If the letter is not in it at all, write it in black.
  • They get 6 tries.
  • The word of the day is: MODEL.

PROJECT INTRODUCTION: (50 minutes)

  • Today we are going to begin working on our major project.

    • The project is sticker creation.
  • You are going to create a sticker that you feel represents you and your personality.

    • Review concept statements here:

      • Mrs. Johnson is ______________ and ______________ like a __________.
  • Today we are going to start with our rough draft. I have circle and square options of stickers for you to work with.
  • As you can see, there are blanks for you to explain how you are using each of the elements of design in your sticker.

    • You need to use them all.
    • Ex.: I am using space by making my sticker full of lots of different things with minimal space because I am a busy person.
  • Show the students where each type of sticker will be.
  • Remind them that they know where all the supplies that they need are
  • Put on some music while they work
  • After a little bit, when students are wrapping up, tell them that they can come check off with you and get their actual sticker to start working on.

    • The sticker paper is available to the students. They will need to cut it themselves into the shape and size of sticker that they want.
