  • Welcome to class!

    • To play wordle, there is a word and students guess based on the number of letters.
    • If the letter is correct and in the correct space write it in green.
    • If the letter is in the word, but not in the right spot, write it in yellow.
    • If the letter is not in it at all, write it in black.
  • They get 6 tries.
  • The word of the day is: DRAFT.

PROJECT: (30-40 minutes)

  • We are going to spend the first half of class finishing up our stickers, and working on our final drafts.

    • If students get done early:

      • Invite them to go back and finish any of the quizzes or other assignments that they need to complete on canvas for this class.
  • Put a timer with music or sound on the board so that the students can be aware of their time restrictions.

CLEAN UP: (5-10 minutes)

  • Put away all of the crayons, the markers, the scissors, ect.
  • Throw away scrap paper
  • Clean up the room
  • Sit in your seats!

PRESENTATIONS: (20-30 minutes)

  • Take students to the windowed area in the hall and have them tape their stickers on the windows.

    • Students will write an element of design that they see on a sticker on the sticky note and then they will put it on the window near the sticker that the note is about.
    • Each student needs to write all 5 of their notes
  • Once the writing has finished and settled, have each person go back to their sticker and read what notes they got.
  • Ask the following questions:

    • What was one example of line that you saw?
    • What was one example of shape that you saw?
    • What was one example of mass/form that you saw?
